Were you thinking this a handful of games ago when when we were unbeaten? No.
Basically what you're saying is you've lost all your confidence because we've not remained unbeaten whilst suffering a massive injury load? Talk about fickle!
We adapted - at the END OF THE SEASON with a full compliment of forwards. We certainly didn't look anything like title contenders at the mid point of the season.
Personally I feel pretty good. At NO POINT have we thrown the towel in this season. Aside from tonight (& the WCC which I don't really count) where we allowed the game to get away from us we've shown up BIG TIME in every game. Against Wigan when we had no half backs we could easily have folded. Against Hull KR we went down whilst dominating possession. Against Hull we made some silly mistakes - but the lads kept trying.
Consider Warrington's recent performances. Consider Wigan's absolute PASTING at the hands of god-awful Salford.
And you don't think we can "turn it around"? Let's wait and see what everyone else gets up to over the next five matches. If you think the likes of Warrington or Wigan are suddenly problem free you are seriously mistaken. And as I've said, Leeds gain nothing whatsoever from a giant advantage at this point of the year. How many times have we seen teams fall apart with a similar record in SLs previous?

No when we were 6 for 6 I wasn't doubting - because plan A was working and there was no need to change the plan. We're now 1 from 4 and it's not fickle to say that our inability to change from plan A is a source of major concern. Our game plan for the last few games needed to be different from the first couple in the season and it hasn't.
We realistically don't have that major an injury list - were missing 4 realistically, and a couple of back up options - the options we did have didn't play well - that's the much bigger concern here. You can't just blithely hope for no injuries, as every club gets them every year.
While we may not of thrown the towel in like last year, we always came back with a response - I would equate tonight with similar to magic weekend - after the game Wellens made his speech, and there was a general recognition with what was wrong - the same doesn't appear to happen this year,
I don't care if other teams are in poor form. Yes it'll contribute to us staying up there in the recent future, I'd rather worry about our own form...
