But come on, we played Wigan in a Good Friday derby at a packed out Langtree park and he was poor. No aggression in his running or defence. That's a big big game for us yet still lacked aggression.

Also, Leeds away in the challenge cup is massive! He couldn't break out a paper bag again.

I get your point but these games he should have fire in his belly, he should be full of emotion but he's dead, the is nothing there at all. You don't need to be committed.

Would wane allow for this? 100% no!

He looks overweight still. I get that we've had a few hard fort battles in the last few weeks and impact injurys are hard to avoid. However, as a few on here have alluded too, I have to start to question the fitness teams. I read that Walsh hardly missed a game for Penrith, he pulls a red vee on and you can see he's got afew niggles. Its makes you think about the Perry situation from a different angle but this was pre Brown so I could be wrong. Wheeler we don't need to go into details. Manu at the beginning of the season was terribly unfit which will have contributed to the injury. Does anybody on here watch training sessions?

I get frustrated with Lomax slow PTB's. Has anyone else noticed this?

No, I agree he's got to do better. He's in a lot better shape now and we need to see the improvement in attitude to match as well. I'll give him one or two games to get into the big games. Now he knows who Wigan and Leeds are I fully expect a better desire. Desire is something that is missing as a club and it's not just Mose with some looking in the mirror to do.

I've said all along we lack aggression and this is possibly the most soft team I've ever seen in rugby but this is the "smiling assassin", the "wreaking ball", he'd like a "human avalanche", " he's like a wall"!

He's a big name signing, who in his words "hits people before they hit me".

I think we've got another flop on our hands. I pray to god I'm wrong as I so want him to be the player we expected but I've serious doubts.

Masoe used in the current setup is what were seeing, he posts good metres, tackles when required (but his line speed is poor) and still will manage a few tackle busts.

An on song, correctly used masoe, still would be all those things that have described him previously. You can't expect a luxury player to rip up trees when the whole team can't get the basics right.

It's the way we use our forwards they are far to flat and practically stood still when they get the ball! Only Sia and wilkin seem to take a run up when driving it in.

If mose and Walmsley ran from deep they would cause damage every time.

Don't know if this is tactics/ set up or the fact we are too slow at releasing the ball or maybe both!

I don't think it's a fitness thing, more psychological (at least to my untrained eye) - the problem has only cropped up this year and he had a hamstring problem at the end of last year, so I guess he's worried about doing it again?

I wasn't convinced by tonight's display from Saints although glad we got the win, obviously.

But Luke Walsh was fabulous. He was the classiest player on the pitch by a distance. And that inside pass for Lomax was amazing to watch, along with his jinking run for his try. Love watching this guy play. But he won the game for us tonight.
