How unfit are Wigan if they need to 'rest' players a month into the season?

Well, we laughed longest last season but that didn't stop us laughing first during 2011 as well.

It's just rivalry. Stop being a spoilsport. Chill. Enjoy the moment!

Happy day for me. I didn the 10k run in 1hr 13 minutes (well faster than I thought I would do it), raised 170 quids in the process AND Wigan got beaten by the new boys of Superleague. Made up for the dismal end to Friday night!

Nice one for doing the 10k run. How you feeling after it? Do much training?

If there are any referees on here, what is the rule regarding head injuries? Should the game be stopped? It may show it on the Sky tries later but Goulding was out sparko for about five tackles (not interfering with play) when Widnes scored one of their tries to bring them back into the game.

Finch had "words" with the referee after the incident. Goulding dd not return to the field of play.

:BLAH: Stop derailing threads. AGAIN.

Hey guys. Sorry for interloping on your board but I just thought I ought to share in the rejoicing.

Typical arrogant Wigan...got what was coming to them today.

If you fancy a good laugh visit their message board. It's even more hilarious than usual today.

No need for apologies mate, welcome 1 welcome all !

The team Wane selected today should have been good enough to win that game, especially when 18 points up in the second half.

Well, they weren't. Clearly.

Maybe Mickey Mac had one of the 'off-days' that Wane was talking about.

Aye, but we declared that we were rotating the squad in the press, and we have always played our strongest team. No u20s this season so far.

The U20's have been playing for about four weeks.

My hips and ankles are killing me, and that's after a nice, long soak! (No idea what I'll feel like tomorrow - dreading it!) I also feel very tired.

I didn't do much training, no, but not out of choice. I registered for the run back in early January. I was unemployed at the time, couldn't afford to join a gym (thinking of the treadmill) so used North Road as my gym (it's close to where I live). However, I then fell ill with that awful virus which makes you cough a lot and leaves you out of breath. It took five weeks to clear and so I only got back to training two weeks ago.

I was aiming to walk/jog but in the end I jogged most of it, walking uphill only. I managed it in just over an hour, which I was totally stunned at as I haven't run anything more than my bath since primary school!

But my sole aim was to raise quids for my charity of choice, which I did (175 of them). Although probably the most painful thing I have ever done, I'd recommend it to anyone as the sense of community is tremendous and knowing it's for charity gave me the focus I needed to get through, especially the final 1km which I spent feeling pretty ill.

I had visions of you and Pete doing it like a three legged race, bitching and moaning all the way round, but generally loving eachother!
