Is he out of favour with KC or has he been offered a better deal and more appearances at Dire?

Thr first 79 years of your clubs existence saw one Championship and no Challenge Cup wins at all. Now that is proper small-time!

The only thing St Helens was famous for before the 1950s was that Bert Trautmann played for the association football team before moving to City. Nobody had ever heard of the rugby team.

Even at our worst we were winning more trophies than 1 in 79 years, now that is the achivement of a club you can't take seriously. If only RL began in the 1950s then Stains may look like they even mattered to the sport throughout its history!

I have to say that Buckley Street has made and excellent point there. If you're comparing our sides's achievements spanning back 60 odd years, then BuckleyStreetWire's point is just as valid in the grand timescale of rl.

The difference is that England haven't won, or come close (bar 1990) since 66 whereas the wire have won 5 trophies in the past 7 years. And also saints 2 in 7, or many during the sl era. It all depends on the timescale.

Does it really matter? Who cares what you did last year, or what we did in 2012?
