Cladding on the south stand
This picture shows that they have removed the X beams while they clad the stand. It then looks like they are putting them back afterwards.
In the foreground is a large roll of insulation, while in the background you can see the internal brickwork being done in the South stand
The insulation is being put underneath the stadium roof. There has also been roof cladding fitted so that this insulation is sandwiched between the outer waterproof membrane and the inner roof lining.
This picture clearly shows the installation of the air conditioning system within the south stand and also the commencement of a suspended ceiling
Looking at the eastern away terrace you can see that lots of brickwork has been carried out. you can also start to see were toilets and bars will be fitted. A suspended ceiling also appears to be in the process of being constructed.
Moving on to the North stand and the concrete floor appears to now be complete, and is joined up to the East stand corner which is also fully concreted
Work on the pitch continues. In the background you can also see where the outer cladding has been fitted above and to the sides of the police control box and PA box. This cladding is above the insulation cladding
This picture further illustrates the outer cladding, and also shows that the glazing units for the executive suites are being fitted. Eagle eyed people may also be able to notice what appear to be interior neon lighting within the south stand
Behind the north stand work continues on the storm water attenuation tank. This is a really large tank that will hold a lot of water.
The roof between the corner of the North and west stand has also now been fitted.
The west stand brickwork continues to rise and looks about 10 feet off the ground now
moving onto the Tesco side and the ramp to the pedestrian bridge is highly visible as are all the car park markings
The entrance road from the linkway has now been fully tarmac'd and you can see the mini roundabout at the bottom.
I understand construction vehicles have already started using this entrance
