The rumours of us signing another player seem to have gone away now. Maybe the fans just won't notice the squad is under resourced again?
I'm sure you'll constantly remind us!
If you look at the squads around SL, I wouldn't be overly concerned. The players we've lost didn't contribute to last season barring Graham and in Hohaia, Laffranchi and Flanagan we have three experienced and good players. Not world beaters but certainly good in comparison to what our rivals have bought in.
I'd say Catalans look stronger but they had to improve their quality as they were nowhere near the trophies and got embarrassed by Wigan in the Play Offs. Wigan are inferior losing Coley, Hoffman, Deacon and maybe Joel Tomkins with just Luaki (who is garbage from what I've seen) coming in. Maguire is also a huge loss for them, he turned them from contenders to winners. Who knows how good Wane and Harris will be? Granted they have some good young players to challenge for spots though. Warrington have lost Matt King who made a big difference to the start of their sets and his try scoring ability is fantastic. Ratchford is good, but he's not as good as King who is on another level to him. They've also lost Louie Anderson and their key players are another year older. Leeds haven't signed anybody of note and neither have Huddersfield, so I'd say we'll easily be in the mix again with some good young players coming through challenging for spots and some other players establishing themselves. The new stadium should certainly give the fans and the team a boost next season too.
