I see no reason why we could not sign Ellis.

Flannery has gone/ Meli more than likely to go/ Wellens. This may mean losing Dixon but could we turn down Ellis for the potential of Ellis (and I am a dixon fan).

The money for the prop was never spent so I'm not even touching that yet.

Also we have not employed the Tomkins money, so we could shift Roby up to use that chunk and still have plenty left for 2 more props.

Tom Burgess at Bradford is OOC at the end of the year, could be worth a cheeky bid. He's a rare big, young, British prop. Although if he does move I can only see him going to the Rabbitohs.

I'm not sure he is. It all depends on how the other Burgess' go. I really can't see Luke and George playing regularly for Souths, so would expect them to return to England someday soon.

The was whispers last year that saints made some sort of enquiry for Tom burgess.

Not necessarily, even if a coach is leaving the next year they do sometimes make the recruitment.
