Hull will be our biggest challengers for second IMO as long as they remain injury free.
check our squad, all the way down to 26th man has sl experience. motu tony, raynor and r whiting to come back, sam moa only off plane 5 days ago, wont be hitting strides for a month yet,nz international to arrive in a few weeks, and get an answer on m crocker next week.new h back combo that will get better, and berrigan in his best position. before season started i fancied us,leeds, yourselves and wire for top 4. think i may be wrong on wire, but no reason to change mind yet on the others.

just pointing out facts. better than last year. was on to our 2nd loan player already. we were establishing ourselves a few years ago but had unforseen problems over last 2 seasons. a few teams could get closer to leeds, and saints. not good for them teams, but good for rest of us.
Huddersfield completed 3 sets in the first half and could have still won the game at one point. Fair play to Hull, they secured the win, but Hudds were hardly at the races.
Lets see how Hull fair against some of the title challengers.
Hull look like a team that are good at grinding out wins, as Bradford used to do.
Their pack is big and they put pressure on the opposition.
They still however seem to lack those killer offensive players that make the difference between genuine title contenders and a mere top8 side.
I also thought it noteworthy that Hudds played shocking yet still scored 20 points against Hull.
For me Hudds have more class in their side than Hull.
Both teams are capable of defeating the likes of Saints and Leeds on an off day, but if Saints or Leeds are in top form its curtains for them.

4 matches in and i dont think anybody has hit top form....we are grinding out results at the moment but hope the attacking flair comes as we are still bedding in a new half back pairing which we didnt have last year.
Disagree about Hudds having more class....think our backs are classier when we get them all playing and Hall goes to centre plus hopefully we will have 2 new forwards coming in IF they get visas.
Love the arrogance...........shouldnt you be getting your alter ego out BTW.

Hull could well finish in the top-four but their lack of skill in the non-pivotal positions and lack of genuine pace in the centres will mean I think they'll probably finish around 6th IMO...
