Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.
Good luck for Saturday, i'll be cheering you on with a passion. I might even get dressed up as a saints fan for the day, i'm sure ive still got an old shell suit in the loft somewhere.
Seriously though, all the best and i hope you make it to Wembley. A drop goal with 3 seconds to go from James Graham to win the game would be perfect, don't leave it till 1 second to go though as i don't think i could stand the tension for a another 2 seconds.
LOL.... i come here to see what Saints fans are thinking about the game... And this board has a Wire "infection" too...

I'll be cheering for saints myself and have no qualms about it. Why is it when wigan fans are cheering on saints (their biggest rivals) against wire it is because we are a horrible little club etc etc, yet when wire fans want saints to beat wigan it is because 'WE ARE BACK'?
Hilarious..... I always want warrington to beat Stains, always support the underdog.
