The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I reckon it was a change in momentum when Warrington lost 2 important players and the Wigan Players grabbed the opportunity and strengthened there will to win.
Don,t discount the fact the Saints had a greater defecit in a cup final to overcome and win, I fully understand the Wigan Fan arrogance will ignore this as they are living in the moment. Congrats on the win.

Have you noticed, you can never find a radical priest when you need one.

I disagree, Leeds have it in them too. I agree with the champion team though, it's probably the 3rd or 4th best squad in the league yet has won the double. That shows it's more than just the talent on the park come game day.

Of course you are quite entitled to your opinion but I would think there would be majority against you on that one (not on this board obviously) it seems to be a pattern emerging of let’s say they are just an average team, but have a great deal of passion and heart that gets them the trophies they want, and if we had it we too would be back at the top. Sorry but that’s a delusion, you’ve got to have quality too.

Why the arrogant big headed reply ?

I've not bagged Wigan once and IMO won fair and square. I'm just eluding tho the fact we only finished one place below Wigan in the league table as people often sugest we are total rubbish.

You my friend are one of the reasons why Wigan fans are hated more than any other fans in super league. Your the sort of idiot that only spouts up when you've won something.

How is that arrogant? We won the double. Fact. Get used to it

Leeds came back from a bigger deficit in the 2011 CC final. 16-0 to 16-16. Unlucky not to win the game in the end.

I've got to take my hat off to the Ape though wining the double. It's got to be the worst team on paper to ever win a cup never mind the double.

Wigan always work hard and play for each other.

The standard and quality of Superleague is certainly going down hill. You only have to look at our own team we have been rubbish for most of the season and in theory should have been out of the top 8, we win some games at the back end of the season and finish 5th.

Thats the major factor that keeps them in contention, they have a couple of really good players and the rest are just very comited hard working and aggresive. Its an attitude we could do with at Saints.
