I think it just protects the player a little if he's still to play his new team and his new club will be happy to keep it under wraps as it disrupts current players that play in his postion.

Dixon is out of contract, Flannery is leaving. That only leaves Wilkin, Flanagan and Sia. Hope to glory it's not one of those.

Unfortunately that's the conclusion I came to. Unless he is referring to Dixon.

Soliola has just signed a new contract, Flanagan has only just signed and is going well, Wilkin is too instrumental to ship out whilst under contract...
