I might be missing something here, are you on something? You are complaining about the Leeds players lack of respect for officials and their perceived inability to accept any decisions (Though they clearly accept decisions in their own favour). To a certain extent I agree, it has seemed to creep in to the Leeds game and the game in general since the start of this season.

However I can only assumme you dont get to see Stains much. If you did you would realise that saints players especially the likes of wellens, long and cuningham have turned showing a lack of respect for the officials and an ability to accept any decisions against them with all the grace of a pre school child into an art form over the last few years.

You sir are a hypocrite!

I have noticed it has been a general condition of our game over the past four years or so amongst every team not just in suprleague but in all divisions in general. Lest we go the way of the round ball the time has come to set this deversion aside. GREATER CLARITY IN THE INTERPRETATION OF THE WAY THE RULING OF THE CODE OF OUR GAME IS UTILISED BY OUR REFEREES. This statement has both positive and negative affects. I think it should be up to every official in attendance of their respective games to interpret the rules as they see best to encourage a free-flowing and expansive game but bear in mind that said rules and regulations are ultimately punishable by infringement. The best referees and linesmen let the game flow allowing for these interpretations.

Who here has witnessed a great game that has all the ingredients like skill, proffesionalism, toughness and biff and has come away thinking what part did the officials play?

Answer: very little cause they let the game flow and only intervened when absolutely necessary?

The best games are the free flow games cause thats when great rugtby happens.

Or am I wrong?

You’re a disgrace to what we call a family game and don’t go saying I’ve said this and wrote that about St Helens because I did them in the right places where kids don’t go and where its permitted. In the stadium its family stuff and your tarnishing that image. If you want to sing we hate scum all night then get yourself off to a pub where such stuff is aloud.

I agree with you on this. I hate that chant and I think that word should be spread to stop it because it sounds like a bunch of chavs in their beer who have left any semblance of brain they might have possessed back in the boozer. It's embarrassing, showing up the very worst of St Helens people. It's also not pleasant either to listen to or for fans to receive, and not necessary.

If Gilmour had his fingers in Smiths' mouth and eyes then he deserved having his fingers munched on. Pushing your fingers in someones mouth is a fairly well known way to inflict pain while you are tackling - most players will have had it done to them. Gilmour was giving Smith a nice facial, Smith pushed him away then Gilmour overrreacted but somehow after throwing half a dozen punches at a guy on the ground got the penalty. I wouldn't be complaining about that if I were a Saints fan.
End of story.

I have a feeling when the discliplinary commitee see the video of Gilmour gougeing and then throwing several punches at a player lying on the ground he might get something as well. A short rest for a week or two

 If you watch it again you'll see it is Wilkin who is on the receiving end of Gilmour's attempted handbags. Also, it will be interesting to see what caused Burrows injury......a miss judged tackle, or Long's forearm or elbow that caused the injury.

How's Fash doing? Now that was a hit!

Fine, the WIN bonus eases the pain

Diskin did a blatant chicken wing on Wheeler in the 59th minute, which the referee missed.
