I think it was down to Sky that Wello got the blame. Eddie must have been confused by the fact that both their surnames started with a W.

Mind you, he called Langtree Park Knowsley Road on at least one occasion so maybe he is just simply confused.

I'm sure there was another one, but it escapes me at the moment.

Quick play the balls was another, remember Scully mentioned they always tried to play the ball in 3 to 4 seconds. The RFL and refs have dumbed it down to over 10 seconds now.
Can anyone remember our man Cooper hiding the ball under his jersey and getting a match ban for it.

Not sportsmanlike, certainly, but no more than a talking to.

Shouldn’t even be that, it just gave a stick for the totally bias to use as an excuse. It didn’t make a blind bit of difference to the outcome of the game, but that said if it had been a pie who had done it there still would have been some who would have made a song and dance about a bit of nonsense.

Can you imagine the amount of brain explosions on here if Sam had done it!
