Luke Walsh impresses me more every week.

If you look in the highlights on the build up to Makinsons try, he sees that Cockayne is involved in the tackle on Lomax, recognises that he's off his wing and immediately signals over to Makinson to exploit the blind side. Very, very clever player.

I'm enjoying him whilst he's here because as soon as his 2yrs up he'll be gone like Lyon?
Someone from the NRL will snap him up at the peak of his career (or the Dr)?

So long as we are planning ahead. We need to be looking for our next 7 as a club.

Walsh is amazing, id love to keep him beyond his current deal, but i'd say thats 50/50 at best!
I'd definitely be looking at Brierley at Leigh, that boy is on fire at the moment!

I'd have signed him last season and even loaned him back to Leigh.

Brierley would put us in a situation where we have nobody organizing play, id like to give him a go alongside Walsh but no way as our main 7. His game is like Danny Maguire, any half break and he is on the shoulder ready to score.

That's how I see it. Him playing with Walsh.

What type of half is charnock? Would he not be coming to the right age for breaking through in 2016 if Walsh leaves?

Can we not enjoy Walsh and worry about him leaving a little closer to the time?!?

He looks the loose forward type of half to me. Reminded me of a young Scully physically.
