I'm in total shock that wello is even considered as a halfback. He has no attributes to be a halfback. He's slow, avg passer, can't beat a man, no kicking game, no rugby brain.

With regards banning, Can we not wait until those who are up before the beak is announced? Currently the Wakefield fans are blaming everything from the ref to a butterfly who took flight on the 57th minute in china, let's wait and see what happens - high shots happen every game with no need to get the panel involved.

I think even Wello knows he's not a half back, but with Walsh, Wheeler, Lance, Turner and Wilkin out who should we put there?

Lomax into 6 who's played there for two years and wello to fullback who's played there about 15 years.

So either he does have the requisite ability, and you think he's lazy in the position, or creating 40% of our tries today is a poor effort for our standoff in your eyes?

I in no way think he should be anywhere near first choice halfbacks, but given the list of players we have out, and contributing 2 tries that won the game, criticism if him today seems very harsh

If we had someone there that can actually play at 6 then maybe we would have won easier.

It's laughable that he's even seen as a utility player and has been used on the bench before lance this year (who is a utility player). He's also been used as a forward in front of the likes of Flanaghan and greenwood who by trade are backrows.


Like I've said, if he's not fullback then don't pick him at all.

I see that point of view, but for me J-Lo's attacking threat is weakened at halfback, he really wasnt that good (yes better than wello) He's much more effective at 1.
That said, in an emergency i'd have Lomax at 7 and Makinson at FB.
