One things for sure, if we are hell bent on getting to old Trafford as I think McManus is this yesr then we are going to have to splash some cash.

I think McManus will change his aspirations after tonight. There is no way we are getting to Old Trafford. If the 2005 team couldn't do it without their halfbacks then there is no way this team will do it. I doubt we will stay top for long, never mind win play offs!

Super league was tougher back in 2005. The standard has dropped so much it's unreal. If we can get a decent halfback in and lance back for play offs we will have outside chance

I think Wilkin is a shoulder injury that could be out for some weeks. Maybe till end of season, so our emergency stand in is gone.

It's a bad situation and there is no way out of it. Lance will be available come the playoffs, but in terms of an organiser that's it we are out of players.

We'd need a short term loan, but whether we have the space is one thing, also is there not a time limit for getting in last minute options, to stop the Andrew Johns scenario that Warrington used some years ago.

Lance and Wheeler are probably the only feasible combination outside of a loan. Assuming they both make it to the playoffs

I would of taken a heavy defeat and a fit Walsh. In fact I would take a 4th place and a fit Walsh heading into the playoffs. Like I said in the opening post, Mr Wheeler time to earn your corn.

There's options, hopefully something can be arranged in the week of the Semis. The important thing is not to just rush out and do the first thing possible...

I would be over moon if you took Gale on loan. Awful awful half back. It's just my opinion but he's someone who has a bit of talent, but thinks he is Cooper Cronk. Then tries the big play when its not on and cocks it up spectaculary. Would much rather see our up and coming half back Adam Brook play for us for rest of season.

Brett Kearney could do a job though. Not great defensively, but has that bit of class about him. In a good team I think he would be superb for you.

Rotten luck that your 1, 6 and 7 are all out. Probably 3 most important positions.
