We have a promising academy side and have held our own all this season, Leeds just managed to beat us last weekend, for a future we need to keep producing these young players, one time we were accused of being just an Aussie side, that is changed. I admit Barnett is not perfect but it is a good little ground for now and those Northern clubs who bring supporters have enjoyed the day.

I wouldn't question any of that, hence why I would like a couple of your youth players in our squad.

We are very desperate to get something out of this year with 4 out of 5 pivotal players missing for a large chunk of the season, just imagine if you had that many players out to the equivalent of Hardaker, Sinfield, Mc Quire, Peacock and Burrow. With those players out you would have lost more games probably against the likes of Wakefield, Bradford and London…………..oh wait a minute!!

We aren't getting giddy, we are just happy with the achievement but everyone knows what the real prize is.
