Not to my knowledge mate. It would surprise me if we signed anyone now but if we did I don't think it'd be someone like him.

We have been looking at backs and sounded out one or two but nothing came of it. Personally I'd like another prop.

Why we'd want another back is beyond me!

Given Ta'ai can cover both front and back row (aka cover both Richards and Thompson) he'd be potential the most useful type of player to pickup for the coming season - I'd have doubts if it were for 2016 though...

Maybe I've just never taken much notice but he's never stood out to me.

I agree re. a back but that's definitely where we were looking to strengthen.

I would be amazed if we were able to pull a superstar at this point, Ta'ai is a solid super league quality player who gets through graft (2000m and 600 tackles last year) and plays his role - just what the doctor ordered for us I reckon ... But then I though Gibbs would be a good signing

Is there the possibility more kids who play prop are coming through this year?

Savelio is the obvious one. Fozard is another one who is highly rated but weirdly he has played both prop and hooker this year so I'm not 100% where his position is.

Fozard is a hooker usually but i've seen someone state somewhere that he's had a run playing at loose towards the end of the season. From the age below Thompson/Sav/Richards stepping up as forwards this year I'd presume are Oliver Davies who's played as a second rower at Orrell but I know has played prop for the u19s a number of times. There's Ross McAuley who had big interest from a number of clubs when signing for the u19s and is an out and out prop, but usually comes off the bench. Joe Ryan is another who could do the job, he's a prop or loose, one of the new types of loose forwards.

I think our signings are done.

Lets hope one of the kids can play prop and leave LMS in the back row.

If LMS is backrow, then it looks like we're going with Richards as 4th Prop, backed up by moving LMS/Thompson forward or bringing in Sav or Walker.

In the playoff game v Wigan Fozard started as a prop and then came back on at hooker! First time I've ever seen that.
