Do you mean his massive 35 metres and six tackles. Have a word with yourself. Savellio was by far the better player last night.
And all this crap about Saints dominating the game.
Well here are the facts, despite having the majority of the ball, they actually only made 39 metres more than Wigan in the game. Wigan gifted Saints the game with the errors, the majority unforced, fair play to Saints for taking advantage, but those errors meant that Wigan had to make 110 more tackles in the game.
You were beaten in the forwards, beaten in the backs and beaten off the park. Just live with it, losers.
Sorry sls you beat me to it.

We did struggle getting meters I thought when at the game. The stats show this also. The was only big Alex at times making any meters which the stats also show.
We was just more efficient than Wigan. We was making silly mistakes and giving silly pens away.
The best team won on the night but the wasnt a great deal in it tbh.

We noticed that Silverdud was more enthusiastic on getting us on side than the pies, quite a few sets they were in our faces. Some metres were made when we spread the ball out wide on the last tackle with a chip kick down the touch line, Wilkin, Burns and Roby had a decent kicking game with a good chase to gain ground. Silverdud also decided he owed us a few penalties in the second half, so we got momentum, I thought the pies struggled all night going down the middle.
We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Sensible post again from you. It was a very equal game for 60 mins but Saints ending their sets brilliantly compared to Wigan ending badly and making errors was the difference. Wigan were constantly asked to bring the ball back from their own red zone whereas Wigan ended their sets terribly. This probably contributed to the 3 errors by our players Bowen & Sarginson resulting in tries; on the face of it glaring errors but can't help but think it was due to Sts kicking us to death.
On a side note, I think people need to realise Wigan play a vastly different style to Saints with the use of their forwards/backs. It's a well known fact Wigan's backs are asked to do a hell of a lot of work in their own half in sets, they carry the ball much more than the forwards. FWIW, I think they stood up pretty well to a much larger pack.

Wigan also attack on the edges more so use the forwards a little less. They look very dangerous when they move the ball and had us all at sea at times but we handled it better than we usually do against Wigan.
I think Wigan are the team to beat if we are to win the final again. They made silly mistakes with stupid passes, silly dropped balls and to many pens.
We handled them with ease down the middle when they had the ball and they did with us for a good hour but we respected the ball more and took our chances.

Being a Wigan fan I came away from the ground last night thinking Saints are the team to beat, better than Leeds certainly. I must say Savelio looked a great prospect last night, breaking tackles and always looking to offload up the middle.

Any chance that you can do your Fat Ape coach a favour and show us the stats that back up his moronic and discourteous statement that said "If Flower had stayed on the field then we would have won by 30"?
I hope that we meet your pappy side in the GF rather than meeting either of the Wolves or Rhinos who would IMO clearly cause us more problems than a side containing even a Ben Flower inspired Wigan side with a 30 points start (Odds courtesy of fatapeodds.com)

We're the team to beat. Wigan won't look forward to playing us again this season because our forwards constantly make dents in them. Add in our 1st choice starting back rowers, Walsh and Makinson and we've got alot to be excited about.

You are the team to beat, but I don't recall your forwards making as much of an impact as you say on Good Friday. They had a great night last night but it could be another story next time.
