Thankfully as they all play for saints they'll still have a huge advantage over anyone who signs for wire.

I should imagine the club have done there homework on him, he,s going to be better than Jones or Dawson which for me is an upgrade on what we have got now. We might get lucky to a point where he is challenging Percival or Turner, would sooner look at the positive side of it rather doom and gloom the bloke before he's landed on the shores.

I like Jones. He's good. Played about double the first grade games by 22 that Dominiquah has by 27.

Don't think Jones would get a single first grade game in the NRL, maybe the occasional bench spot.

I would be disappointed if we have effectively swapped Jones for this bloke. Jones may not get a start in the NRl, although there are an awful lot of puddings who have played a lot of games over there, but he proved himself to be a good player for us, who was still improving. It appears he fell out of favour with KC and I guess we will never really know why, or if we could have matched the wages he is going to be getting, but it seems a big gamble to me. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jones back in SL before too long.
