I think it's easy to forget he's only 20, he seems to have been around for ages already. If he gets a settled run in the side at 2nd row I think he could turn into a very good player for us.

He's not going to get a good run in the side with Sia and Manu.

I thought that as I wrote it but you never know with Brown. He may choose to use Soliola from the bench, Manu may play less minutes now he's getting on a bit, he might use one of the 3 at 13.

And by decent run in the side I don't necessarily mean as a starting player. Even coming from the bench he could do 30-40 minutes per game. I was referring more to consistently playing in the same position and not necessarily nailing down a starting spot every week.

It's a possibility Jones will be centre as we've only got Turner.

Yeah possibly. Unless they are getting Percival ready for the new season and he will be our permanent left centre?

I think Saints gave Turner player of the year purely to wind me up. God we must be awful if he's our best player.

As an Hull fan I'm astounded that Jordan Turner has got player of the year. He must have improved ten-fold from his days at Hull because his defence was shambolic and he spent more time pointing at everyone else around him to complete tackles. He also rarely showed any real glimpes of attacking ability, a length of the field try at Warrington and a good try in your 1st season at Langtree Park spring to mind but that was about it.

Admittedley, I don't see his performances every week and I suppose for him to pick up this award he must have done well in the none televisied games and really improved, so fair play to him.

Turner has been average and I'm in total shock he's got our player of the year.
