I loved his cheeky drop goal at the end of the match on Friday. I'm sure he was extracting the urine by doing that, probably reminding Brough of how to kick one properly!
I think the best halves can mix it. It makes them unpredictable. If a halfback is pass pass pass then teams more or less guess he will pass but when they mix it up and dummy and go a few times (the right time) then they usually coast thru.
I'm not saying he should run lots if times but few times a game. The best halves can do the lot and I'm 100% certain Walsh can mix it up.
Eric Hughes once told me to not take the ball in at all during the first 15/20 mins of the game ( unless it's wide open) and just keep laying balls on etc then when the team gets it in there mind your just going to pass, a dummy and go and you'll cut thru them like a hot knife thru butter and he was spot on.
