Yeah true....but what about Wello...??? In reality Hock hasn't shown a sustained run of good form for a few years and coupled with his tendency to get himself in trouble, often not even related with his playing aggression, and his age it would be foolish to take him on for the three or four games a season where he runs riot (against Leigh, Widnes, Wakefield and Salford).
And whomever said that a chairman should take on a player who'd likely help challenges for trophies as much as ruin the club, that philosophy has some merits (Sean Long). But if the said player only has one of those qualities (and not the good one) then surely it'd have to be a no.
