I actually thought the play the ball call was harsh last week. He played his foot backwards, it was only in the motion of after playing the ball he caught it again whilst standing back up.

It would be interesting to see him get a run out for us after a couple of months up against it at London.
Will it help toughen him up, playing against SL defences that have the measure of his team, or will it stifle his development if his team are getting severely pasted every week?

It could be the making of him. He'll know that London's results wont matter to him, just his performances. If he ends up being one of their best Forwards he'll be the most experienced of all our young forwards.
