Nice one, made me laugh. You need to go a lot further up the supply chain than that though. :D

At the end of the day, I don't really care what's going on. I just trust that it's in hand and by the sounds of it, that appears to be the case. We are not Bradford or London, so we are fine. We have a brand new stadium and no bank debt.

The squabbling on the thread on the Wigan board is just embarrassing. Are they actually trying to say that we are not a sustainable club, even though we have assets and they don't?

Bizarre.

The only club that can take the moral high ground is Leeds.

Hardly Widget makers.

Still looking for your credibility I see. Lame attempt at justification.

Our Sales people are (e.g.) account managers - they manage customer accounts. Same with Business Development people, Technical people, customer relations people, recruitment people - they are all Account Managers. They are not Accountants and clearly neither are you.

I could refer you to a number of historical posts on here and RedVee that amply demonstrate that you haven't got a clue as you keep dredging up the 'debt' situation at LP; something which EM has clarified a million times yet you cling to the notion that debt is debt, all is unmanageable and Saints are mired in it. Have you understood the reason why there's been no shareholder's meeting yet or do you still wanna keep bringing that up? Conveniently forgotten Saints' fixed assets or how that mitigates their financial position to some degree? You still haven't answered the questions I see you were asked about Wigan's balance sheet either so, despite your desperate attempts to proclaim your career as with 'multi-nationals' you have as much credibility as Ricky Gervais did in the Office and as much financial acumen as his photocopier.

What were your 'accounts' exactly? I guess even BP, Shell, Exxon Mobil have to order their paper cups from somewhere? Your 'accounts' probably entailed filling in spreadsheets in the aforementioned back office.

BTW - I'm through debating this with you. You've embarrassed yourself enough.

The company I worked for had revenue of around $38 billion US per year.. That's a lot of paper cups and I never knew of one that could shut down a refinery at a loss of between $200K and $500K per day. I wasn't back office but moved through from instrument / system engineering,

Spreadsheets are quite a useful tool if the macros are programmed correctly (we had good back office staff to do those jobs). I hated the death by powerpoint way of selling/managing but sometimes even that was necessary.

You sound very much like an accountant / buyer who knows the cost of everything but the value of nothing. So we'll leave it there.

200-500k a day is a small refinery? Even assuming a slump price of $75 a barrel it's no where near the "average" mass production refineries used by some of the company's you named, which usually operate at about 1.5m barrels a day! (Not an attack btw generally interested in such things)

That as an aside, Mike Coleman is a hedge fund manager, which means there's more to it than the bottom line (which he tbh will use as a tax break and thus in his best interest to keep running in such a manner) - the stadium is the perfect foundation to keep money moving on, thus befitting all. McManus and Coleman are both very talented at it (which is why they got where they are) and why none of us on here would be able to accurately pin a value onto them about how much they're actually worth...

Wrong! The club has no bank debt. The long term liabilities come from the directors, not a bank. They are all substantially wealthy individuals who have the long term interest of the club at heart. We are in very safe hands thank you very much. :

Well Rogues - where is your reply to the above correction to your misinformation?

I am an accountant and the 2013 show NO bank debt. The long terms loans are only convertible to equity (share capital) so not a liability as such.

it was a direct copy of a line from here.

You may have to have an account to view it.

Genuine question if there was no debt how has the £244K interest payment been generated, or is that funny money?
