Scousers are from Liverpool, not just anywhere in Merseyside.

For accuracy St Helens is in the merseyside borough, whilst from 2009 Widnes became one of the district councils of Liverpool City.

Widnes has a big river, I think its called the Mersey, at high tide Widnes is about 4 feet from Mersey Side, St Helens is a bit further about 12 miles. Also Liverpool airport is closer to the town of Widnes than the city of Liverpool itself.

It is the Runcorn bridge and the Scousers emigrated to Runcorn and St.Helens.
