A top class winger with real pace would fit the bill as Swift looks like he is another young prospect who will fade away.

Choosing between a prop and a winger who are both at the same level in terms of skills, physical development, attitude etc. is no choice at all. The prop is far more valuable.

I can understand the logic as we are a little thin outside. And despite his early successes in the position I don't think it will be long before Swift moves inside. Fullback preferably. I also think he has the makings of a good stand-off.

But if you're going to throw money at arguably the least important position in RL I'd say you're better off piling the chips together and going "all in".

Where is Swift going to move though? He's not going to have the chance to displace Burns at 6 whilst Hohaia is in the wings as well, and equally he's not going to displace Lomax at fullback with Wellens around (though I'd like to see him take that role, especially if Turner is earmarked for 13).

Wellens, Dawson and Percival are already in reserve to cover the back 5, and even Hohaia if we lose more than 3 ...

I can only hope the plan for the available space is to be targeting player for next year as their is some quality off contract, and tying down what we have

Do we know they're looking for a winger ? I think it's centre which is (a) more important and (b) the position where we have least cover for Turner and Percival.

The club have definitely enquired about and spoke to a winger from another SL club. However I'd be surprised to see any transfers before the season starts.

It's a long season and few players get through it without an injury of some distinction. I can't see Swift getting the nod from the outset. But, like Wellens and Roby, he'll likely move first as cover and then if his form is good he'll nail the seat down tight.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

It's not the llama as much as the expression of dismissive shock on it's face as it turns round.

For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

If they do sign him I hope he gets a decent hair cut.
