Aye, which would leave us with Amor, Walmsley, Richards, Walker - quite clearly a downgrade!

Keep Mose, sign another project to replace Ghostmont, (pray it turns out better than Ghostmont), use them in rotation and were sorted.

then you remind him he's signed a contract, and he can play for the best deal possible next year after it runs out.

Sometimes players want to leave, but we could spend the whole offseason saying what if xyz wants to leave, until there's any suggestion by the player (or his representation) that hes not happy, I won't worry about it :)

From the horse's mouth - Mose staying until the end of his contract. The headline of the article (in true Aussie fashion) declares that he wants to come back to the NRL after next year, but if you look at what he actually says it's more like he wants to see out his contract and then see what his options are.

Am I reading that correct ? He only touched the ball 10 times in two games and made only 28 tackles in two games?

His meters was pretty impressive tho and few tackle busts.

We have to bring in another prop to help poor old Amor out. We can't expect him to do all Mose and walmsleys work.

Have absolutely no problem with that. If he's honest and up front about it the club will know in decent time if he's likely to sign an extension and if not find a suitable replacement (Burgess bro please :D )

Amazing how desperate the Aussies are for props though!

With a good pre season behind him I'm expecting an improved faster and fitter Mose next year, I like the bit of reporting about Sean Long joining the saints coaching staff. We could well see some better set plays to bring Mose into more productive scoring options.

Sound fair enough, most overseas players don't stay here forever. I would rather he have a positive impact then go home than hang around and do nothing for the rest of his career.

We will just have to see what is plans are next year.

Re: Mose : Wed Nov 05, 2014 6:34 pm
The important thing to remember about Mose is he has slogged his guts all season to work the weight off and get fit. Indeed, by the time the playoffs arrived he was starting to develop definition.

People might think that's no big deal. But just take a moment to contrast him with Feka P - who came with arguably a bigger reputation and yet never showed consistent improvement in fitness throughout an entire season.

It must be hard for those big south sea islanders to quell the urge to eat the house breakfast. The fact that Mose's fitness was always on the up curve means he has a professional attitude. Which is something very few were saying of Paleasina when he left Wigan.
