You have the same questions about Bowen, I believe he even announced his retirement before you signed him?

he didn't, he said he would not sign for another NRL team as he loves the cowboy to much and suddenly the press sent out a headline saying Bowen decides to retire and then when you read the story it says from the NRL. He said he signed for wigan months ago.

But your right he might come over to milk a couple more seasons salary but it does seem against his nature.

It's a shame that the shoulder charge is banned, because Mose Masoe would wreck havoc over here with his huge hits!

So saints sign a player from the Nrl - there are questions over his commitment/ whether he's here for a holiday

Wigan sign a player from the Nrl - it's not in his nature to come for a holiday

That about right?

people cant be that stupid to realize that Bowen has been a top professional through out his career and masoe has been ditched by 2 clubs in 2 season. or are you just being ignorant to the facts because 1 has signed for wigan and the other for saints?

both are risks anyway and i realize it but sum don't.

I never said Masoe wasn't a risk - perry was a top professional when he came to saints and Lyon had been dumped and was playing for wee waa - not really a good indicator of how someone's gonna react to traveling x thousand miles across the world and start in a new team

So instead of speculating about how terrible everyone is gonna be why don't we assume both are gonna play to the top of their respective games until proven otherwise?
Or we can go round in circles slagging off each others players ....

It has potential but it's also unproven. Masoe could be as useless as Feka, we just won't know till we see a season from him. Walmsley tailed off pretty dramatically after a good start at Saints too.

I'm reserving judgment on Masoe on the basis I've only seen bits of him. I've read the Penrith forums and they're more upset by his loss than Walsh's so not sure what that will indicate for us.

As for Walmsley, he picked up an injury (broken ribs) so it's no surprise he tailed off. He'll have better support alongside him with Amor and Masoe (who is a replacement for the barely used Perry) so he should kick on next season.

I haven't slagged Masoe off, he is a monster when on top form but its proven hard to keep him there, personally i hope he rips in for you as having another to close to call game during the season makes it all the more exciting. And traveling is why i said they are both risks we have no idea what will happen next season.
