Had a brief chat at half time with Mike in the west stand, he was doing the round of the concourses to see how the food and drink outlets were coping, with a couple of suits. I must say, I got served super quick in the SW stand bar before the match, and it appeared the queues were moving quicker than normal as some friends got served quickly at half time also. Not sure about other areas of the ground.

Good to see Mike doing the rounds, any senior staff member spending time within the fans areas to see what can be improved is always good with me especially the CEO.

The screens off was a technical issue apparently.

He needs to get his backside to the West Stand then where the corporates are nowhere to be seen. There wasn't even a price list available there and the queues were as usual.

At least the chocolate was in date, which was a change from the last time I went to LP.

I've given up even trying and give my money to Burger King now instead. The choice of wine gums, twirl pieces or dairy milk for my tea doesn't appeal too much.

The staff in the stand opposite the corporates are a major problem, they all act shocked that you've asked for hot food, before nervously replying that they don't have any left.

I think the club could look at how Warrington do it. The concourses at Saints are big enough to have vendors in there selling their wares, so pizza, burgers, pies etc could be sold from there. The bars could then be kept to drinks.

For a living, I sell pizza ovens (no, really). I can tell you now that with the right set up, any old monkey can produce decent pizza and the profit margin is very high.

I may even do the equipment at mates rates if Eamon phones himself.

Give it a go. He will probably give you a 20 year contract at £400kpa.

Only if you can prove you've never played there before and are in fact terrible at all aspects of Rugby league and of course can do a passable impression of a kiwi accent (Aussie would suffice)
