Anyone know of a pub in Newton and/or Earlestown that is showing the World Cup games on Premier Sports? My local has Sky but doesn’t believe it to be economically viable to get Premiers Sports just for the world cup.

If not, you think Leigh will have the closest pubs with it on?

Can you not just subscribe for a month? Or is there a 12 month subscription? I'm pretty sure you used to be able to do that, at least online.

You can subscribe for a month for £9.99. If you have a HDMI lead then you can hook your laptop to the TV and it's as good as having a TV subscription.

Two month minimum contract and connection fee via Sky.

Thanks I will have a look into that. I was under the impression that I would have to subcribe for a years contract. But If you can have it for only a couple of months that would be useful.

I don't know whether there is a Riley's pub anywhere local to this area but they are in partnership with the RFL and are due to be showing world cup games, although I'm not sure how many or whether that includes the Premier Sports games.

Anyone who is in Warrington - the Bulls Head have subscribed for Premier for the duration of the tournament.

Currently investigating potential of subscribing to premier sports at Newton Sports Club on Crow Lane. Will keep you updated on progress. If we opt to go for it, all WC games will be shown at the club.

It's a two month minimum subscription 9.99 a month subscribe over the phone if you have sky as you'll get it on channel 428 and also the online version which has 7 day catch up! I subscribed before NRL playoffs so had those within my two month minimum! It's well worth it I'll be having it all next season with every NRL game and a couple championship matches a week it's much better value than sky for Rugby League.
