Part of the Union The announcement this week that Sam Burgess will join Rugby Union side Bath at the end of the 2014 season should have disappointed all League fans. Woeful article. Why is the RFL being blamed for this when he is leaving the NRL? They have way more money than us, so if they can't compete with the RU offer, we certainly wouldn't be able to. The NRL and RU are vastly wealthier competitions than ours and that isn't going to change.

No solutions suggested assuming you think Burgess moving is a problem.

In the end it's down to money, as the article says. But there is no quick fix to generating money. Only hard work and the clubs creating increased revenue. The RFL can do jack about the international game without more money and Ozzie input.
