What about that flicked inside pass from Jones to create one of the tries at Cas? Took me about 12 replays to see how he'd done it. Jamie Lyon would have been proud of that one.

Jones isn't one of the favoured players at saints, but week in week out puts in really solid performances and last week took the game by the scruff if the neck and virtually win it single handedly. People continue the live in with wheeler, but is the likes of jones who is actually doing it on the pitch for saints. Keep it up son!

Also I don't think Jon Wilkin got the praise his performance under pressure deserved.

All the focus was on him losing the ball and laughing early doors, I prefer to focus on:

- His pinpoint kick leading to the Turner try which got us back in the game; and
- His step out of a tackle, then top decision making with his cut-out pass to Swift for the winner.

In that final spell he showed why when it comes to the Flash v Wilkin argument, there is only one winner.

Wilkin has been superb this season.

Our backrow is full of competition this year, with Sia, Wilkin, Manu, Flash, Jones all of whom derserve a starting spot!
