Was it a mistake Loaning Gardner & Clough out for the season now that injury's are mounting up?

Yes we have to give our young lads a chance but i think Clough playing against Leeds would have been better than the younger props?

Not really, it's not like either would have affected the outcome. Leeds won that by a mile, the scoreline doesn't reflect the game at all. Complete control for 75 minutes. Clough may have helped a tad, but wouldn't have got anywhere near to reversing it.

I think Leeds and Wigan would have snotted clough and we would be talking about him being one of the very soft players in our pack.

Gardner wotkdbt have played in any so no with that too.

If Gardner is the answer then I'm not sure what the question is.

Who will offer more than LMS in a Saints shirt, makes good yards whilst on the pitch, makes very few errors and is defensively reliable?

That says more about lms' current form then it does cloughs ability - neither of which are good enough right now.

It's not about form, Clough is better than LMS.

He's not as fashionable, nor does he mouth off as much, but I'm more bothered about my props making yards without stupid mistakes.

LMS is and always has been a showpony and is no use to a side wanting to win big games.

Irrespective of that, I always thought it was a poor call sending Clough out on loan. We could certainly do with him now.

Never rated clough. For a side that wants to win big games, neither are good enough at the moment!
