It's always tricky to tell at Bradford due to the distance at times.

But for me

1, Greenwood
2, Roby
3, Lance

I thought Roby was better today than In previous weeks. He had a good last 20 mins v London also so maybe he's getting some form back.

lance was good today and hope Brown leaves him at 6 now. We know he's not great at 6 but Walsh needs a steady half with him.

Greenwood was the best forward.

Brown in his post match wittering on the Sky site reckons Robes was our best player by a long shot (my words) and that some players (who were role-less and nameless) were now playing with him, so allowing him to come to the fore or something. I never understand what Brown is actually saying. I think he should have been a politician.

It makes perfect sense to have the same halfbacks week in, week out don't you think so? Which is probably why Brown will drop him. Or Walsh.

I was impressed with Greenwood, turned his back on the play once and got a mouth full from me for that. Not that he could hear it from my perch 20 miles back. But other than that he played a real good tough game.

Sorry to see him go off injured at the end. But I think he's going to get some more game time this year after that. Playing Sia from the bench seemed to perk him up a bit too. Until he had to switch to centre

How did big Alex play, accordiing to the stats he made loads of metres and tackles and was best best for tackle busts and offloads.
As yet nobody has mentioned him on this thread.

Re: MOM v Bradford : Sun May 11, 2014 9:08 pm
I'll be honest and say I did not notice him that much, but given the distance you can sometimes think one player is making a carry when it's someone else.

At one point there was a ball steal by one of ours it took me a good few seconds to pick out the number on the back and it was Wellens. By that time I had missed 2 sets of 6.

It's just a long long way back to stand especially where I was (by choice) so not the best judge here.

Walmsley was being used a lot wider than usual. He made a ton of yards through their centres.

It was the James Roby show today. Easily our man of the match.

I think he was making reference to our forwards playing well, dominating and it allowed Roby the space to exploit and play to his strengths. Our ruck speed was much improved today

So is Brown simply reverting us back to playing off Roby all the time now that we have halfbacks or what? Is it going to be a case of shut Roby down and we're snookered again?

I was a bit confused by Brown's singling out of Roby in the way that he did given that I wasn't watching the match. Did everyone else simply have naff games or what?
