We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Warrington : Wed May 14, 2014 11:41 am
So next up are Warrington.

To be honest I'm not sure what to make of this fixture. I did not see the game they played against Catalan, but the score looked mighty impressive.

Did Catalan have a bad day? Did Warrington have a good one? Have they found a winning combination at half back?

We have played the bottom 2 teams in the last 2 weeks so it's hard to read us as a team, also we may start to get some bodies back? Warrington have been very inconsistent and look to be on the slide, but was it just a bad start to the season for them?

I really have no idea how to read this game.

I'll obviously back us to win, but I would not be able to predict it.

The general quality of the Warrington v Catalans game was poor. They scored a couple of nice tries but Catalans were woeful and didn't put up much resistance.

Warrington will pick up a convincing win, we are rubbish.

I watched the match, for as long as I could stand it anyway!

Both teams were dire to start with. I think on Sky's Full Time show someone said they made an error a minute between them during the first quarter. It was the worst 20 minutes of rugby I've ever watched. Then Warrington scored a try and took the game effectively. The Dragons woke up with about 10 to go and scored two. Had the Dragons been awake earlier in the match then I doubt very much Warrington would have scored as many as they did and clearly would have conceded more given that they conceded two so late on.

In spite of the scoreline Warrington didn't look anything like the team of the last few seasons but they might have gained some valuable confidence from the win which in turn might spur them on next Sunday more than might have been the case if they had lost. They also get a few forwards back I think.

However, I'm not getting carried away with our own results because as you say they were against the bottom two teams. I am nervous that we will not work hard enough in the forwards or in defence. We will need to in order to beat Warrington regardless of their performance against Catalan.

We should do, in theory, because Warrington aren't as good as they have been and we are better than we have been but IMO it will all depend on whether we turn up with the right attitude.

Attitude will be everything - Wire will want to kick start their season with a win over Saints in the same way that Wigan did.

If we approach the game sloppily, we will pay the price.

We've won one by a big score have we? All getting giddy again.

I expect close game. They will raise their game as it's a big game on a big stage.

I think saints will win but wouldn't shock me of we lost.

In all seriousness, this is the game that I was most worried about after the CC game. Saints will need to turn up with the never say die attitude that saw us beat Leeds earlier in the season... we definately need to be 100% switched on from minute 1 to minute 80
