I imagine length of contract will be the issue.

34 years old. 3 years would be too many.
2 years carries some risk
1 year would be an easy deal to sign.

This, but if it's on much reduced terms 2 years wouldn't carry much risk either

I think this is a case of the you tube clips again.

People see the highlights of the Hull matches and expect to see wonder offloads every match.

His stats are very very good.

His average gain is decent for a forward and considering his time out his tackle busts are none too shabby either.

A disappointment??? Compared to what?

Manu has been good for us. He's very dangerous and I think it's ludicrous if we let him go.

He just makes some daft handling errors at times, but otherwise he's still a good player

He'll always do damage out wide, hasn't Brown had a tendancy to play him more up the middle?
Certainly that's the least effective way to play him and teams target him to wear him down thus his attacking threat is nullified (this happened at Hull to an extent when we were short handed in the pack)
Worth a good 1 year deal and maybe two with reduced terms but given Saints policy(?) I can't see him being offered more than 1 year anyway.
