Wiganers riding for Preccy! : Fri Jul 04, 2014 12:19 pm
Short of something to do this Saturday?Fancy a day out in great company, fabulous scenery, a good laugh and all for a good cause?
The former Vets of Wigan RU are once again holding their annual ‘Preccy Charity Bike Ride’
This is the second part of their annual ‘Trilogy’ having already completed a ride for The Christie in June followed by one in August for Derian House
We will be calling at a few pre-arranged ‘Pit Stops’ including St Pat’s rugby club
This will be a particular poignant ride as it will be the first one since Steve’s untimely death and he always used to pop along on our ride to lend his support to a great cause. He really was a lesson in courage for us all to learn and I hope that as many of his friends and colleagues will turn up on the day for the ride in his honour.
