The Shield is the culmination of a season where Nathan Brown, his coaching staff and all the players have worked hard often in times of adversity. They came together as a team and deserve all the congratulations that come their way.
The whole statement on the club website doesn't mention the play offs or Grand Final once, just a sickening listing of various people he wants to thank for our monumental achievement. It's the culmination of the season is it? Is it really Mike?
NOTE TO CLUB: The season doesn't end until October 11th. There is this thing called the Grand Final which comes after a series of games known as the play offs. Oh never mind, this lot would never even get there.

Is it just me that thinks our support is awful? Langtree Park is a library of an atmosphere. The home end full of 30-40 year old Roy Cropper and Hayley types who never make any noise. There is no support for the team and no noise, there is also far too little kicking off when the team isn't even trying, which happened several times at LP this season. It's something our media manager has probably got saved in his favourites as he adds it to the end of every interview he does, but thanking us lot this season is a bit daft. If I'd been interviewing I'd have changed it to a rallying cry, pleading with the fans to actually generate an atmosphere in the play offs.
Instead, I'll have to do that
