After a couple of mentions on the hull board, I've started looking into it. There's certainly some rule changes afoot.
E1:5:10Elite Representative Squad Dispensation Allowance
The following dispensation will apply for 2012, 2013 and 2014 with the purpose of incentivising clubs to produce players for the elite representative squads, reward those that do and assist the competition in retaining the best UK developed players.
For the purposes of this rule the elite representative squads are the Elite Training Squad (ETS) and the Knights Squad.
The maximum allowance under this rule for each club will be £100,000 per annum.
The cap dispensation will for each club will be determined on the 1st August each year by the RFL and this figure will be an additional allowance in the Cap for the following Salary Cap Year.
These allowances apply to the clubs finite Salary Cap (Liability) at the start of any one Salary Cap Year and remain until the end of that Salary Cap Year regardless of any movement of players be that to another Club or out of the game during the time period.
What's replacing ets in 2015? There are also changes to the long service allowance - but there's no mention to what it could be,
