That time of the year again where the lads play against their Australian counterparts. We've only got the one representative in, in Oliver Davies. Some players in their though who've got Super League experience this season which is good to see. Players like Joe Keyes, Cal Lancaster, Elliot Minchella, Ash Handley, Robbie Ward and Ash Golding. I was about to post the squad.

I did mention in the Saints Juniors thread that I thought Lancaster and Turgut of Hull would be selected. The Wire pair of Wilde and King have also impressed me when I have seen them play.

Was you about to post it on every site or just St Helens?

Wigan have a shed full of players in & St Helens only have one, yet you post the info on our site first. Are you sure you are not a closet Saints fan?

Didn't think Wilde was anything special when he played at Shevington if i'm being honest, solid not spectacular. But I've not seen him play for Warrington for a while so he could be decent now, like you say he's impressed you so must be doing something right if he's in the England squad as well.

I don't think Golding and Handley would be bragging too much about their SL 'experience' to date...

Have they even played? I know I've seen them in 19 man squads for Leeds but don't know if they actually played.

Does Savelio not qualify for this level, either age or nationality? Or has he been overlooked? Surprised not to see his name there.

In reality it is U18's ( this years 2nd year academy) so he is overage.
Otherwise the likes of Williams, Hampshire, Thompson, Richards and Sutcliffe would have been included
