When it came together it went really well I thought, it's just the times when that happened were way too far apart! It was scrappy but we saw it through, which was the pleasing thing. We seemed we were still in preseason mode at times, lacking a bit of urgency to finish off breaks etc.
Swift was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, I think both occasions deserved a closer look at then they got, and he carried it out really well (minus the one stone cold blunder). Him and Turner look to be building a good relationship which looked positive to me. Vea seemed to get through a lot of work and gave me confidence I was right to hail his signing - still not sure if he's an 80minute player though. Greenwood seemed a bit anonymous which was disappointing given his preseason form, cats are a tough pack though. Lomax and the starting front row should take the credit for tonight though.
Ref managed to be too lenient and picky at the same time but the less said about that the better
