In a heartbeat. Better still I'd take his brother for a season - both have the ability to improve sides and shake complacency - we need each of those attributes in spades.

If we lose all our Super 8 games, its possible KC might offer his resignation.

I'd be happy with Paul Anderson as coach .Done a good job at Hudds and fits the bill for a coaching role at Saints -got to be an ex player

Id take Smith in a heartbeat. He's gone stale at Warrington Imo and needs a change.


I don't know if Id sack KC this year as I don't think coaches should be sacked after one year. It's clear tho he looks out his depth when things ain't going well.

I'm not sure Id trust KC with recruitment tho. I don't think KC will be at the club by the end of 2016 and the new coach will have to use the bargain basement rubbish that KC is bringing in.

Unlikely. He is too well set. The boot-room nepotistic culture has emerged since he started planning for his retirement (early Potter).

If a big figure (either of the Smith's) take this as a project then they need to clear all the hangers on
as well. Accommodating the likes of Wellens and Gardner out of sentiment is a key example of why we have
woken up Post Anderson to realise we are not all that.
