Alex Walmsley is more than capable of playing for England. His surgery isnt immediate and he has now set himself back from being selected for next world cup by missing this series.

Last year James Roby told McNamara he needed surgery so couldnt get selected and it later transpired, through his own admission, that he didnt need surgery at all and he went on a long sunny holiday.

What's going on? Is Cunningham encouraging your players to turn down England or do they just not have the work ethic for another month of rugby?

Saints pay his wages and if he needs medical attention to be ready for next season then he needs it, simples.

I don't think McBanana has any say on when Roby plays..........probably his thinking will be "You play whenever you want James". As for Walmsley he's played a lot of minutes this season needs the rest to avoid any further injuries, he should the be capable of playing better next season and nailed on for that England shirt. Its a shame Flower is Welsh he could have demolished the Kiwi pack.

Single handed, in fact I'm surprised Wales arnt world champions with him in the side

It was risky to the player, playing Walmsley, he was never fully fit!
