SAINTS have named their 19-man squad for Friday's Dacia World Club Series match with Sydney Roosters.
Travis Burns and Dominique Peyroux have been added to the line-up but James Roby misses out with a rib injury.
Keiron Cunningham will select his 17 from:
2. Tommy Makinson, 3. Jordan Turner, 5. Adam Swift, 6. Travis Burns, 7. Luke Walsh, 8. Alex Walmsley, 10. Kyle Amor, 11. Atelea Vea, 12. Jon Wilkin, 13. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, 14. Lama Tasi, 15. Greg Richards, 16. Andre Savelio, 17. Luke Thompson, 18. Dominique Peyroux, 19. Theo Fages, 20. Joe Greenwood, 22. Jack Owens, 28. Morgan Knowles.

Does anyone think we've got a prayer against these on Friday?
If it's freezing and lashing it down we might cause them a few problems but my sensible head says that they're gonna win by 16+.
It's difficult not to reminisce about the days when we had Long, Scully, Cunningham, Newlove, Albert, Martyn, Joynt and co. We were so spoilt them days.
Don't think KC will go with this but I would like to see: Swift Makinson Peyroux Turner Swift Burns Walsh Amor Fages Tasi Wilkin Vea LMS
Richards Savelio Greenwood Walmsley
Jack Owens was that bad last Thursday you've cloned Adam Swift
I was thinking earlier what team I'd least like to face as an opposition fan against Saints. I'd certainly be moving Swift or Makinson in to full back. I'd also be looking to get Greenwood in to that back row because I think he's a great talent. Against the big Aussie packs I'd look at getting Savelio in at loose forward to add some size in the middle. Finally I think Wilkin should be in the halves. He picks and chooses his games but I'd be far more confident of him producing something in a big game then I would of Burns (I'd put him in the pack to add some aggression) doing it or Fages.

Probably agree with you there, Swifty to full back very much improved would offer a lot running the ball out, put Owens on the wing. Greenwood and Sav get contained a bit easy these days and there offload game has disappeared. Wilkin at loose forward is usually an extra half back and has been noted for his lack of metres lately. I have no idea how the team is going to respond from last weeks loss, KC says one thing but the players don't inspire confidence to perform at the high levels required.
I know you have some injured, but in terms of opposition you couldn't ask for much of a weaker team from a top 3 NRL team they lost Maloney and RTS and Jennings in the off season Plus JWH and Cordener are injured and Pearce is in rehab Thats 3 internationals and a further 3 origin players missing from their team last year (another way to look at it is that their 2 best players in Pearce and JWH aren't playing) Plus they only gave themselves 5 days in the country so are way under prepared
You guys must think your in with a chance... right?

They have been at a training camp in Dubai, they were the first to leave Australia.

Yea but thats still a long flight and doesn't exactly get them ready for a cold night in Saint Helens Plus I read that by some bizarre set of events Rugby League is illegal in Dubai? So are you sure they were allowed out
