How come there's no discussion on here about Travis Burns lately?

Not living in St Helens I don't hear local gossip but last night on the long dull bit before the game that nobody watches they had a woman going through the latest news stories and one of the headlines on the board behind her (that she didn't talk about) was "Burns Staying" next to a picture of him. I also heard somewhere that KC has had to retract some comment he made about Burns going to Wakey.

So come on what's happening or not happening?

I,m sure KC was quoted as saying that Burns was "learning" a new positional role, namely hooker but that was when he started playing Morgan Knowles in that position for a couple of games.

It's strange that Morgan Knowles is only 19 with few super league games under his built is preferred to Theo Fages who's played 70 odd super league games and played for France yet Theo is deemed a "project ".

I'm starting to feel embarrassed for KC now with his crazy comments and actions

Wonder if he will play against Leeds or will it be Fages or maybe neither will play. Will KC ignore both Burns and Fages to keep Turner at half back and play a forward at centre.

Saw a comment last night from a Saints fan on another forum that us (Huddersfield) and 2 other clubs have made enquiries about Burns and Theo Fages from you lot, initially on loan,
do you think there's anything going on that and would there be possibilities for the clubs considering you aren't playing them ?

If we ain't going to play Burns then we should let him go. He's on good money and at his age he needs to be playing.

The reason Smith gave it up at Wakey apparently , he wanted him on loan and the board would not sanction it

That's both him and Lance Hohaia whom we've splashed decent money on and both been 'underwhelming' at best. A square peg for a round hole yet again.
