Gambling is a long long road and when you have done it from a early age, it's so hard to break the gambling cycle.
Ask anyone who works at the BRI, they all know me as "Mick the Rugby League fanatic who blows all his wage on gambling"
I'll be with a patient and someone will pass by and say "are you having a spin at dinner" (there are three bookmakers within a five minute walk from the hospital) and then from hearing that Im thinking about having a spin and turning the £50 in my wallet into £500.
Anyhow for what it is worth, I terminated my Sky Bet, my Tote, my Hills, my Coral betting accounts last night and have got my £200 back.
The bookies over the road where I live, I will be going in after work today to self exclude myself.
Yes I let down those on here who tried to help me, and for that I am sorry.
My gamble free life starts today.
