Yes I think you nailed the Withers one, a player who was released from the NRL for being, yes.........................not good enough.

As for the statistics, they are flawed, you are compairing a player who steps in almost as a additional 7 when playing for Leeds, in fact he is that good if he wanted to play 7 he would probably be the best in that postion playing in SL now.

Can you say the same for Radlinski? Though not!!

But this thread is about.... Best SL players. IE that's players performance within SUPER LEAGUE. NRL, Internationals, these things not a part of it.

. . . . . Wasn't it Webb (as opposed to Withers) who couldn't get an Australian club to break him into the NRL so he took his bat home (or rather abroad ) and had to go to to Aukland

. . . . and then had to become a New Zealand citizen because he couldn't break into the Australian Test side (he was born an Australian, you know )
