Bulls Players at the World Cup : Wed Oct 30, 2013 12:57 am  

I have only been able to watch the England vs Australia game as I don't have Premier Sports at Uni. I do have it at home and have taped all the games so far but I was wondering how these players have played so far:

Frank Winterstein (Samoa)
Danny Addy (Scotland)
Dale Ferguson (Scotland)
Elliot Kear (Wales)
Ben Evans (Wales)

On another note I can't wait to get home tomorrow and watch the USA vs Cook Islands match

If you have it at home, can't you view the channel through the Premier Player? It seems to work very well now.

Winterstein was anonymous and went off injured. To be fair to him though, he won't be playing the world champions every week for us

Danny Addy played really well. Made good yards whenever he had the ball, looked lively and created a try for Scotland with a great offload.

Dale Ferguson played ok. He's a hard runner and even the big Tongan players were struggling to get him to ground. He did give away several penalties though.

Elliot Kear and Ben Evans were both impressive against Italy. Ben took his try well, being the first to react to a loose ball. Elliot set up one try with a nice step and a perfectly timed pass, and he scored a cracking try by taking a bomb in the corner. It was a great take.

Just got home and straight away put the TV on so I can watch PNG vs France

Agree with no thus winterstein I didn't notice was playing tbh, kear and Evans did well Keats step vs Italy was nice to break away and put Lloyd in.

Addy played better than ferguson, but both made good yards.

Ben Evans was the third top tackler of the round (with only Zeb Taia and Eloi Pelissier higher than him) and was named in the Opta Team of the Round too.

He was actually playing in the second row too, rather than prop. Gives us another option (if we keep him).

It would give us another option if half our squad weren't already back rowers

Does seem to suggest he'd do a decent job there, but with the make up of our squad, I can't see him playing anything but prop for us.
