Despite my misgivings about the off-field situation and our on-going "saga", in about 90 minutes the season starts again and we really need to get off to a flyer today in order to help give us (ok - me) a more positive look on the season.

It is going to be hard enough to survive this season without the club apparently shooting itself in the foot and I have no doubt whatsoever that the players who have remained are 100% committed to the club.

Perhaps even Carvell and Sammut leaving will improve the relationships within the dressing room?

Anyway, time to go. Let's get it on and get a result today so that even the most cynical on here (ok - me again) can take some comfort for once.

Indeed. Our first choice team would easily make the top eight.

Our squad depth is obviously terrible.

It is crucial that we make the most of our first team before the inevitable injuries start.
